An Aberdeen pharmacy has successfully completed a pilot clinic for CV19 vaccinations in the city centre.
Michies the Chemist ran the trial session from 2.30pm - 8pm on Thursday, June 3, with maximum take-up of vaccination slots by the public confirmed within a matter of hours.
The pilot was run in conjunction with NHS Grampian
John Michie said: "We are delighted to be involved in this pilot and expect solid public support for it built on our long experience of serving generations of North-east folk.
"Our city centre pharmacy, situated on Union Street, has the convenience and advantage of being served by an excellent public transport network taking residents from both city and Aberdeenshire direct to our front door.
"The vaccination booking system has been organised and managed by the excellent team serving TECA and when the pilot was tentatively announced on social media, the full 150+ slots were filled within an hour."
