MISS – Miscarriage Support Services, would like to raise awareness for their Pregnancy After Loss Facebook page which allows for support for women and partners who are trying to conceive after a miscarriage or who are pregnant after a loss.
Their page aims to create a safe and non-judgmental place where women and partners can find motivation and helpful information about pregnancy after loss but is also somewhere they can feel seen and heard by others who are going through a similar experience.
Louise Dredge, who is the Pregnancy After Loss Co-ordinator at MISS, is a Hypnobirthing Practitioner and Postnatal Doula who is also trained in the TBR 3-step rewind technique used for births and prenatal trauma. Louise brings her training and experience to the page and also offers fortnightly Facebook Lives to help support the followers and service users of the page.
The Facebook Lives are either held by Louise herself or by different practitioners from across the UK who specialise in techniques or support for mental, physical, and emotional health and wellbeing. MISS hopes the Lives educate people on different avenues of support which they may have not otherwise heard of, such as hypnosis, neurolinguistic programming, yoga, meditation and emotional freedom techniques.
There are both public (https://www.facebook.com/MISSPregnancyafterloss) and private (https://www.facebook.com/groups/181763883695068/) Pregnancy After Loss Facebook Pages open to anyone who needs support surrounding this subject. Furthermore, you can email info@miss-support.org.uk to find out any further information on this service, or any of the other services MISS have to offer.
