As part of its ‘Open With Confidence' campaign, Moray Chamber of Commerce today launched ‘ConnectU’, a scheme where members and the wider business community can receive free advice from industry experts.

ConnectU is the creation of a hub of professionals from a range of services including accounting and finance, HR, insurance and law. Through the initiative, which has been funded by Moray Chamber, the local business community can receive a half day’s advice from any of these experts, up to the value of around £500, without having to pay for the benefit.

The initiative is just one of the ways Moray Chamber is supporting the business community and encouraging them to ‘Open with Confidence’ in the aftermath of the coronavirus pandemic.

Sarah Medcraf, chief executive of Moray Chamber of Commerce, said:

“The launch of ConnectU comes at a time when many businesses have been left feeling trapped with nowhere to turn. Whether it’s a small bit of advice needed or helping business leaders come up with their next great idea, we hope it will make a difference. ConnectU is open to all Moray businesses regardless of sector or size and with our Chamber members making up the expert hub we know the advice and support will be relevant and useful.”

Sitting within the hub of professionals is Adelle Morris, AM Employment Law Ltd; Bob Cunningham, who specialises in employment law and HR, Bob Cunningham Associates; Peter McLuckie, Harper Macleod LLP, Gareth Vaughan, Towergate Insurance Brokers, Munro Rankine, Cathedral Accountancy Ltd; Donald Forsyth, Saffrey Champness Chartered Accountants and Cathel Fraser, The Long Partnership.

Moray businesses can sign up to book appointments with these experts at www.moraychamber.co.uk/connect...
