Billionaire Tesla owner Elon Musk has said he will cut back on political donations after being a top donor and prominent figure in Trump's successful election campaign.
Musk spend more than £187million in support of Trump's campaign, the BBC reports, but has now indicated he planned to spend "a lot less" in the future.
Speaking at an economic conference in Qatar, Musk, who also owns social media platform X, discussed his role at Tesla and his political involvement.
Asked if he was likely to continue to spend large sums of money on political campaigns, Musk told the conference he felt he had "done enough".
He added: "If I see a reason to do political spending in the future, I will do it.
"I do not currently see a reason."
Musk confirmed he is committed to leading Tesla for another five years - after recently announcing plans to step back from his Department of Government Efficiency - or Doge - to focus on the electric car company.
