Namaka Compliance is delighted to announce it has recently been awarded an Outsourced Competence Assurance Support (OCAS) contract with Hydrodive Group in Nigeria.

Hydrodive is involved in subsea interventions to offshore installation, fabrication, and project management, with solutions designed to meet the industry’s evolving demands while upholding the highest safety and quality standards.

The contract will involve managing competence for up to 500 people across half a dozen vessels including the use of ‘Athena’ Namaka Compliances’ online Competence Management System (CMS), this will involve training of Assessors and Verifiers remotely as well as creation of processes, procedures etc.

This will allow Hydrodive to be able to demonstrate the competency of its personnel both offshore and onshore in line with the subsea industry requirements and of the operators that it undertakes work on behalf of.

Jamie Murphy, the managing director, said: “It is good to have companies like Hydrodive come onboard and actually undertake a comprehensive Competence Management System and not pay lip service to competence in the Subsea Industry, it is also a good testament to the organisation that they are also embracing digitalisation of all their personnel with the use of our CMS ‘Athena’.”

Namaka Compliance looks forward to supporting Hydrodive as it continues to grow in the West African region.
