NEREC, a leading exterior cleaning specialist working across Aberdeen and the North-east, has launched a new apprenticeship role as part of its commitment to investing in the next generation of talent.
The company, known for delivering high-quality services such as roof and gutter cleans, cladding washing, pressure washing, and internal workshop cleans, provides tailored solutions to commercial and industrial sites with minimal disruption to business operations. Now, NEREC is turning its attention to building the future of the industry - starting with young people in the region.
The newly available apprenticeship is designed to offer hands-on training in exterior cleaning and property maintenance, giving a local young person the chance to gain practical skills, earn while they learn, and grow within a supportive work environment.
“Young people bring fresh energy and ambition into a business,” said Andrew Bruce, director at NEREC. “At NEREC, we don’t just want to get the job done - we want to build careers, especially for those just starting out. It’s incredibly rewarding to help shape someone’s future.”
The company believes that supporting youth employment is key to ensuring long-term success - not just for NEREC, but for the industry and region as a whole.
