A new electric bus route launching this week will improve travel between Royal Deeside and Aberdeen.

Operated by Ember, the E11 service aims to meet growing local demand and boost access for tourists. The route will run daily between Aberdeen and Dundee, with stops including Braemar, Banchory, Blairgowrie, and Aberdeen Airport.

The company has been rapidly expanding its electric network across the North-east with new routes connecting towns and cities.

Ember says that the route will initially operate as an “express service” but intends to add more stops and services next month.

The service will begin on Wednesday, July 23, with one return journey each day.
