NESCol has joined fellow
Scottish colleges in the launch of national survey designed to enhance
collaboration with employers throughout the country.
The
study will help build understanding of the way in which colleges engage with
organisations and support innovation.
Duncan
Abernethy, NESCol’s Director of Business Development, said: “Collaboration is
at the heart of everything we do at the College and our partnerships with
employers are delivering fantastic results.
“We
want to grow and evolve our provision and the input of employers is vital to
help us do that. Whether with those who already have a relationship with NESCol
or those who have no existing links, we are interested in exploring the role
colleges play in fostering innovation and providing the foundation for economic
growth.”
The survey takes around six minutes to complete and focuses on current engagement between colleges and businesses, suggestions for improvement and the support, challenges and opportunities surrounding innovation.
The survey can be accessed here.
