Joanna Barrett, policy and public affairs manager for NSPCC Scotland said: “All children have the right to be protected from harm and to receive help to recover from abuse. Sadly, we know this is not the reality for many children in Scotland.
“We support the incorporation of the UNCRC into Scots law. We believe that putting it on a statutory footing help ensure these children receive the support and protection they need.”
