The Project SEARCH University of Aberdeen team will host a fundraising Gala Concert on Friday, March 23, 2018 at 7.30pm to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the internship programme in the University.
The compere for the evening, professor Pete Stollery, will introduce performances by Project SEARCH Interns, as well as friends, supporters, and students from the University’s Music Department.
Project SEARCH University of Aberdeen is a one year Internship programme which supports young people with additional needs to gain skills and experience to go on to employment and operates as a partnership between the University of Aberdeen, Inspire (PTL), North East Scotland College, Aberdeen City Council, Aberdeenshire Council and Skills Development.
The event will celebrate two milestones which occur in 2018 – the programme’s 5th anniversary within the University and 2018 being designated as Scotland’s National Year of Young People.
Tickets (priced £3) will be available at the door, or can be reserved in advance by emailing projectsearchuoa@abdn.ac.uk
