In order to celebrate 10 years of RBC Brewin Dolphin Community Grants programme, employees across the business were given the opportunity to nominate local charities to receive a charitable grant – 10 of which were available.
Some 123 nominations in total were received from across our 30 offices in the UK and Republic of Ireland. Every charitable theme was represented capturing the spirit of what the community grant programme has been about over the last decade.
David Barclay, Head of Office at RBC Brewin Dolphin Aberdeen is delighted to announce that our colleague Sharon King was successful in her nomination of Mental Health Aberdeen (MHA). As such, a donation of £5,000 has now been presented to MHA to help them continue the incredible work they are doing.

Ellie Fergusson, MHA Fundraising Coordinator noted: “MHA are delighted to be selected as one of the charities to benefit from RBC Brewin Dolphin’s Community Grants programme. This money will go towards expanding and improving our counselling services with the North East. Our mission as a charity is to break the stigma of mental health and this donation will help us assist more people in their journey towards a positive mental wellbeing”.
