As part of Volunteers' Week, Marie Curie’s community fundraiser in Aberdeen City and Shire, Lauren takes the opportunity to say ‘THANK YOU’ to every single one of her volunteers for the time they generously give to Marie Curie.
She says: ‘The amazing work of our volunteers helps the charity do more for more people, and our volunteers are essential to helping us achieve what we do - Marie Curie volunteers are a vital part of the team. Our volunteers give up a lot of their time to make a difference - we'd like to thank them for the incredible work they do.
Marie Curie’s vision is to help people and their families living with a terminal illness make the most of the time they have together by delivering expert care, emotional support, research and guidance.
There are many ways to support Marie Curie. If you are interested in volunteering, joining a local fundraising group or organising a fundraising event, please visit the Marie Curie website or contact your local community fundraiser, Lauren on 01224 284380 / Lauren.Edwards2@mariecurie.org.uk.
