RigRun, the B Corp-certified digital health experience for remote and isolated workforces, has announced the launch of Qualifiers 2025, its latest four-week team fitness challenge starting 10 September.
The 4-week competition will see crews from around the world competing to log the most activity minutes, so they can take their place on team and individual leaderboards and earn sustainable rewards.
Louise Martin, Managing Director of RigRun, said: “For crews working offshore or in other remote locations, long shifts, isolation, and limited opportunities for exercise can take a toll on physical, mental, and social health. We created RigRun to change that, turning fitness into a shared, positive experience that builds camaraderie and a sense of belonging, while improving whole-person health.”
More than 25,000 crew members have already signed up to take part in the RigRun programme over the past decade, and this year sees new participants joining the challenge, including SBM Offshore’s FPSO ONE GUYANA crew, alongside returning teams who have made RigRun part of their yearly calendar.
Dr. Yuli Permansingh, Offshore Doctor aboard the SBM Offshore FPSO ONE GUYANA, said: “A ship’s greatest engine is its crew. Fitness fuels our power, safety, and resilience, so we’re thrilled to be joining RigRun for their latest event.”
