The River Dee Trust has welcomed David Rodger as its new trust manager.
The North-east-based charity was set up in 1998 and delivers a range of large-scale conservation projects to the benefit of the wider ecology and wildlife in the region including the endangered Atlantic salmon, Freshwater Pearl Mussel and Otter populations on the Dee catchment.

With experience across the UK Civil Service and the wider energy industry David will be working closely with existing and new supporters of the Trust.
On his appointment David said: “I am delighted to have joined the Trust Team at an important time as we look to expand our engagement in the region and continue vital conservation and resilience actions for a river well known across the globe.”
