Since 2002 European Mobility Week has sought to influence mobility and urban transport issues, as well as improve health and quality of life for everyone by exploring solutions to urban challenges, such as air pollution. This year’s theme is “walk with us” and is focusing on safe walking and cycling and the ways that keeping active can benefit our health, environment and bank balances.

The main message of the day will not be missed with GetAbout, Co-Wheels, Air Quality officers, and Home Energy Scotland on hand to provide advice on travelling more sustainably and encouraging alternative transport solutions.

The day’s popular Treasure Hunt is bigger and better, offering the chance to find the hidden items in shop windows within the In Town Without My Car Day event space to win a free ice cream – and you can enter the prize draw for a chance to win £250 worth of bike store vouchers.

Free Park and Ride return bus travel provided by First Bus and Stagecoach will be available to everyone attending the event in Aberdeen City Centre, valid on Sunday 15 September 2019 for travel on the Park and Ride services from Aberdeen or Aberdeenshire sites to Aberdeen city centre. Vouchers should be downloaded in advance. More information can be found on our website link below.
