Rock Flow Dynamics was proud to welcome the Scottish Cup into its newly opened office space within Aurora, Aberdeen - a moment that brought excitement, energy, and a real sense of community spirit to the team.
Reflecting on the occasion and RFD’s commitment to community engagement, Scott Harrison, director at Rock Flow Dynamics, said: “We are proud to have our hub for Europe in Aberdeen, the energy capital. It’s a brilliant city with fantastic, talented and warm people. And what better way to make our office, our new home for years to come by using Glens heavenly image and supporting Duncan and the community trust.”
As part of the celebration, RFD is delighted to share that it has donated almost £3,000 for the Aberdeen FC Community Trust (AFCCT). This contribution was made through the purchase of a bespoke frame and licence for the stunning Northern Lights print, created by talented videographer Glen Cairns, which now features proudly on the office wall.
Speaking about the print and its connection to the city, Glen Cairns, videographer, added: “It’s amazing to see the photo I captured used in this manner. It’s a fantastic display that carries a real feel-good factor, especially considering the ripple effect it has generated for the Aberdeen Football Club Community Trust. When I was approached about this idea, it was a no-brainer. A special thanks to Scott Harrison and the team at Rock Flow Dynamics for this wonderful donation.”
At Rock Flow Dynamics, supporting the local community and local club is very important. The AFC Community Trust continues to deliver meaningful programmes and initiatives that make a real difference across the region, and RFD is honoured to play a small part in supporting this work.
Commenting on the impact of the donation, Duncan Peter, business development and partnerships manager at Aberdeen FC Community Trust, said: “It was a pleasure to be able to bring the Scottish Cup to Rock Flow Dynamics and to share the famous old trophy with staff, clients and colleagues. We are very grateful to them for the chance to visit and for the fantastic donation towards our ongoing work across the North-east.”
The visit of the Scottish Cup offered a unique opportunity to bring clients, colleagues, and friends together in celebration, marking both RFD’s new office opening and its ongoing commitment to community-focused initiatives.
