ROSEN UK is pleased to announce the appointment of Glen Littlejohn as principal project manager, bringing a wealth of experience and a proven track record in pipeline services, subsea operations, and energy technology development.
Glen began his career after graduating with distinction in Electronic & Electrical Systems from Abertay University in 1997. He spent over a decade working in project and operational roles within the pipeline services sector, with a strong focus on subsea and upstream environments. During this time, he trained in Ultrasonic Technology (UT) and gained hands-on experience as an in-line inspection (ILI) field technician. His technical expertise extends across many aspects of subsea pipeline operations, including pre-commissioning, inspection, and intervention.
In the 2010s, Glen progressed into regional and global leadership roles, including serving as the North Europe & Canada Regional Focal Point for pipeline pre-commissioning with a leading subsea construction company. He also held senior consultancy, project management, and business development roles across Aberdeen and international markets, with a focus on subsea pipeline operations and strategic client engagement.

Most recently, from 2021 to 2025, Glen led a major project portfolio at the Net Zero Technology Centre (NZTC) in Aberdeen. There, he managed government and industry match funded R&D programmes aimed at accelerating the development of innovative clean energy technologies. Glen’s work at NZTC exemplifies his ability to translate extensive Oil and Gas domain knowledge into actionable insights for the energy transition, a transition that is especially critical to the future of the North East of Scotland and the wider energy landscape.
His role included full lifecycle project oversight including cost, risk, and budget management for collaborative industry consortia, further reinforcing his credentials in delivering high-impact innovation and supporting net zero objectives.
Throughout his career, Glen has built a strong reputation as a skilled project manager, team leader, and mentor. He brings to ROSEN UK deep technical knowledge, international experience, and a passion for delivering complex engineering projects with clarity and purpose.
