Scotland’s only dedicated asthma charity, the Asthma and Allergy Foundation (AAF) proudly welcomes Carol Willox, as field sales representative to the team.
With almost 20 years of experience in sales and multiple awards for her remarkable dedication to customer service excellence and leadership, Carol Willox’s industrious attitude will be a valuable addition to the AAF team.
Carol will be responsible for the sales of the organisation’s eLearning training courses as well as paid in-person Asthma Training targeting different businesses in the region to improve asthma awareness and motivate businesses to take action and recognise the life-saving importance of the asthma training courses.
The chief executive officer of the Asthma and Allergy Foundation, Martina Chukwuma-Ezike highlighted the urgency and importance of asthma awareness: “Every 10 seconds in Scotland, someone is having an asthma attack. When someone has an asthma attack, it is the person standing next to them who saves them, and how lacking is this life-saving knowledge amongst our family, friends, teachers, colleagues, including first aiders, the very people asthma sufferers rely on for help when having an asthma attack.”

She remarked: “That is why we are excited to welcome Carol Willox to the organisation. Carol will be working with businesses of all sizes, sports clubs, and communities across the country to improve awareness of asthma, helping businesses to provide Asthma and Allergy Training to their employees and equip their staff with the skills most needed to support colleagues with asthma and allergies.”
Carol Willox commented on her appointment: “I am honoured to be part of the Asthma and Allergy Foundation, being a long-term sufferer of asthma myself, I value what the foundation is providing to help save lives.”
The charity is very excited to welcome Carol to the team and trusts her passion and expertise will further AAF’s life-saving reach in asthma and allergy support.
