Audiences at His Majesty’s Theatre can expect a thrilling murder mystery, an enchanting Disney favourite, family entertainment, a ground-breaking new musical and singing sensations in 2023 with five amazing new shows announced for the city theatre.
Agatha Christie mystery The Mirror Crack’d comes to His Majesty’s from Tuesday, February 28 – Saturday, March 4, Sing-along Encanto will enchant audiences on Wednesday, April 12, Magnets 80s Rewind will bring the hits on Saturday, April 15, Eden Court’s award-winning The Stamping Ground is a must-see from June 7-10 and Hey Duggee will delight young theatre-goers on July 6-7.
Aberdeen Performing Arts Director of Programming and Creative Projects, Ben Torrie said: “The irresistible suspense of an Agatha Christie mystery is always a firm favourite with us at Aberdeen Performing Arts, and The Mirror Crack’d promises to be a thrilling evening of entertainment, while The Magnets will be full of fun and great tunes when they come to His Majesty’s Theatre in April. With family favourites like Disney’s Sing-along Encanto and Hey Duggee there will be a great opportunity for younger theatre-goers, and of course we are so excited to be welcoming The Stamping Ground to Aberdeen, where it is sure to make its mark next June.”
The new shows join recently announced upcoming Music Hall appearances from Tide Lines, Mogwai, Suede, KT Tunstall, and Romesh Ranganathan in the 2023 Aberdeen Performing Arts 2023 calendar.
