On June 2, an 11-strong team from the Aberdeen office of Shepherd and Hardies will undertake the Aberdeen Kiltwalk in aid of CFINE, a local charity and social enterprise based in Aberdeen.

CFINE (Community Foods Initiative North East), is an Aberdeen-based charity that aims to improve health and wellbeing and the environment, tackle poverty and build resilience for and with disadvantaged, vulnerable, low-income individuals, families and communities in North-east Scotland.

The two property firms are uniting to take on the 18-mile mighty stride that stretches from Duthie Park to Bellfield Park in Banchory.

Team members, Shona Boyd and Giorgia Murray said: “We are delighted to once again support CFINE, a local charity that does vital work for those who need it most in the North-east. Thanks must go to all our generous supporters who have helped us almost reach our fundraising target.”

Thanks to The Hunter Foundation and Kiltwalk’s sponsors, all funds raised by the team will go directly to CFINE plus all eligible gift aid (up to 25% extra). This means that up to 125% of all funds raised go to CFINE.

Taking part in the Aberdeen Kiltwalk is the latest effort in Shepherd and Hardies’ endeavour to support CFINE, following the sister firms’ support of the charity’s successful Christmas foodbank drive.
