Six years ago in December 2015 during the oil and gas downturn David Rusling and Angela Scott founded QHSE Aberdeen limited.

They saw a gap in the market for a professional, competitive, QHSE consultancy, who could deliver expert advice with the benefit of a small friendly approachable team. Since then the company has grown from strength to strength from two people to now 10 people helping customers from all sectors of all sizes from one man bands to large oil and gas organisations.

Since formation, the organisation are now able to offer a wide range of QHSE related services from the development of core management systems to the provision of experienced staff for specific project work to the delivery of bespoke training programs to meet client requirements.

David Rusling said: “We deliver results that benefit the client, streamline systems that help to make their organisation more cost effective. Our client base has grown tremendously and our customers have been very supportive as we have built fantastic relationships over the years. Running our own business was never going to be easy… the days of Monday to Friday 8 to 5 are a distant memory or a future dream but we have helped so many companies over the years that are grateful for our help and we continue to do so six years on. Thank you to all our customers, without whom we wouldn’t be here.”

Angela Scott said: “ Its unbelievable that six years has passed so quickly, considering nearly two of them were during a pandemic lockdown. It has been challenging at times, a learning curve for the both of us. As any business owner will know employing the right staff takes time and due diligence, creating a team that work well together sharing their experiences and passing on their expert knowledge to enhance our business as well as our customer’s business. We are very proud to be 6 years old and in the place we are at right now! Looking forward to many more birthdays”.

As a sixth birthday gift to all AGCC members, QHSE are offering a free gap analysis (in January 2022) to any organisation looking to implement a new or existing ISO management system.
