Registered charity Sport Aberdeen is to encourage North-east businesses to get active with a new newsletter targeted at organisations within the business, charity and public sectors.
Active News was launched by the leisure trust in April this year, and aims to provide stakeholders with an overview of the range of activities being delivered against its charitable objectives.
Sport Aberdeen, which delivers sport and physical activity on behalf of Aberdeen City Council, is committed to creating opportunities, inspiring people and changing lives.
The charity has already seen huge success with its popular #naeexcuses campaign, and today revealed that it plans to expand the campaign into Summer 2017.
Sport Aberdeen director of business development Jill Franks said:
“As an award-winning charity, we are finding more and more people are interested in getting involved with our campaign to get more people active.
“Active News will offer a snapshot into some of the brilliant projects that Sport Aberdeen deliver across the city. From award-winning active programmes for cancer patients to million-pound modernisations, there are so many ways that we are creating opportunities, inspiring people and changing lives through sport and physical activity.
“We were delighted by the support our lead marketing campaign received last year, and will be expanding the campaign into Summer 2017. To keep up to date with our latest campaign plans, programmes and other events, we hope that businesses and organisations across the North-east will sign up to our new Active News newsletter.”
