Stagecoach appoints new commercial director for North Scotland bus business

Bus operator Stagecoach announced today that it has appointed Daniel Laird as commercial director for its business in North Scotland.

Stagecoach North Scotland delivers 17.5 million passenger journeys a year on a fleet of more than 370 vehicles. The company employs around 870 staff across 14 depots in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Moray, the Highlands and Orkney, operating 22.8 million miles every year.
Daniel has been in the transport industry since 2008 when he started at First Glasgow as a part-time driver while studying at university. After completing his studies, Daniel joined the graduate scheme with First Group before taking the position of Commercial Manager at First Aberdeen in 2014.
