Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has announced a "coalition of the willing" to in a bid guarantee peace in Ukraine.
It comes amid a turbulent weekend which saw a fiery meeting between Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky, Donald Trump and JD Vance.
The aftermath of that saw calls from the SNP for the king's state visit invitation to Trump to be revoked - something Starmer has been swift to dismiss.
Now, Starmer has announced a four-point plan to end the conflict in Ukraine, working with France and other countries to form a "coalition of the willing".
Following a summit of 18 leaders mainly from across Europe, the BBC reports, Starmer said: "We are at a crossroads in history."
Meanwhile Zelensky said Kyiv felt "strong support" and the summit showed "European unity at an extremely high level not seen for a long time".
He added: "We are all working together in Europe in order to find a basis for cooperation with America for a true peace and guaranteed security."
