MindSparx Health & Wellbeing creates a safe and enjoyable environment that ignites a new level of positive mental state and physical wellbeing within those who use our services. They achieve this through martial arts and fitness, coaching, training and development, and aquatic therapies; all tailored to meet the needs of the individual and realise the true potential of all. Their products cater for children as young as three years old, all the way through to adult, meaning they have something available for the whole family.
This March, MindSparx Health and Wellbeing Centre hosted another successful belt giving for all our martial arts students. The ‘Little Ninjas’ class; designed for children aged five to seven, is the fastest growing class within the highly successful karate program and they were among those receiving their new belts.
To receive just one belt within this program each Little Ninja is individually assessed and challenged to reach their full potential, working towards an essential life skill each month such as teamwork, focus and balance. These life skills taught are crucial elements to their overall growth and learning in life. Utilising these skills enhances the Ninjas’ abilities to concentrate better at school, remaining focused for longer and more disciplined in the home environment, as well as having higher levels of confidence in their day to day lives. The best part of this program is seeing the Ninjas making key friendships along the way with their peers and learning key skills that have the potential to last a lifetime.
The Little Ninjas participate in a minimum of 24 sessions out of the 60 available, every three months to obtain their belt, making this program highly flexible for busy parents. Each class is full of energy and are designed to be fun whilst achieving their goals. Already, each Little Ninja is working hard to obtain their next belt.
