Two of the most recognisable voices in Scottish radio will soon have a brand-new home as STV Radio has signed much-loved presenters Greigsy (Greig Easton) and Webster (Stuart Webster) to join Scotland’s newest radio station when it launches in the coming months.

The radio legends will play key roles in STV Radio’s weekday line-up, with Greigsy taking the mic from 10am – 2pm and Webster hosting Drive from 2pm – 6pm.

Familiar voices to listeners across the country, Greigsy previously hosted mid-mornings on the Bauer network across Scotland, while Webster presented a daily national show on Greatest Hits Radio Scotland.

They join breakfast show hosts Ewen Cameron and Cat Harvey, who were the first presenters announced for STV Radio in June and will launch their show from a shiny new purpose-built studio at STV HQ in Glasgow.

Greigsy said: “Making brilliant radio for folk right across the country has always been my favourite thing to do, so when I was offered the opportunity to help launch this brand-new nationwide station, it was an absolute no-brainer. Expect all the usual patter, phone-ins and your favourite tunes every weekday lunchtime. I can’t wait to get started!”

Webster said: “I'm absolutely buzzing to be working with a new team, and some old pals, to create a daily show that keeps listeners company as they drive home, walk the dog, or just fancy a wee kitchen dance on a weekday afternoon. One of the biggest draws for me was the opportunity to be involved in every aspect of my show right from the very beginning – let’s hope I can get at least one or two of my crazy ideas past the STV bosses!”

Graham Bryce, MD of Audio at STV, said: “Greigsy and Webster were both at the top of our wish list when we started forming our presenting line-up for STV Radio. Listeners know them well from their time hosting breakfast and national network shows across Scotland for the past 30 years, and both perfectly reflect our ethos of making STV Radio the home of personality-led presenters with unique connections to audiences.”

STV Radio will be a mainstream music station, predominantly aimed at 35-54 year olds and available on DAB, online and via Smart Speaker. More presenters will be announced in the coming months ahead of the station’s nationwide launch.
