The December and January Business Support Top Up – Hospitality will provide financial support to businesses in the hospitality sector affected by the latest public health advice.
Level of Grant Award
The grant is a ‘one-off payment at the rate of:
• £4,500 for premises which have a rateable value of up to and including £51,000; or
• £6,800 for premises have a rateable value of £51,001 or above.
The rateable value of the property is considered to be as per local authority records at November 1, 2021.
Who is eligible?
The December/January Business Support Top Up - Hospitality fund will provide support to businesses in the hospitality sector who have lost crucial bookings during this key trading period where they are registered as one of the following:
• public houses,
• restaurants,
• cafes,
• other licensed premises classed as hospitality,
• nightclubs,
• hotels with bars and restaurants.
Any business not classed as one of the above will not be eligible for this funding. Awards are granted based on the primary function of the business.

Important Information
Eligible businesses that previously received support through the Strategic Framework Business Fund (SFBF) have been contacted by Aberdeen City Council today by email, in order to complete a self-declaration form. The fund closes on January 31 so businesses must complete the declaration form before then to receive support.
If a previous recipient/ eligible business has not received the link to the self-declaration form today they are politely asked to check their spam/junk folders first and contact us at businessgrowthteam@aberdeencity.gov.uk if they cannot find it.
New hospitality premises which did not receive the SFBF last year/ begun trading after April 2021 may still be eligible but will need to apply through a new application form which will be hosted at https://findbusinesssupport.gov.scot/.
