The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bar operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient bar management and compliance with all relevant regulations. This role involves managing staff, inventory & finances, as well as creating a positive & engaging atmosphere for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Staff management

- recruit, train & supervise
- schedule shifts & manage staffing levels
- foster a positive work environment

  • Customer Service

- Ensure high standard of customer service at all times
- Address customer feedback & resolve any issues

  • Bar operations

- Oversee the day to day operations
- Monitor & manage stock levels
- Ensure cleanliness & organisation in all parts

  • Financial Management

- Alongside the operations director, set & manage budgetary goals, controlling costs & maximising profitability
- monitor sales & implement strategies to meet targets

  • Compliance

- ensure compliance with health, safety & alcohol service regulations
- implement & enforce responsible alcohol service practices

  • Menu Development

- Alongside the head chef, develop & update food menus
- Introduce new & innovative drinks to attract & retain customers

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in bar management or a similar role
  • strong leadership & organisational skills
  • understanding H&S regulations, licencing & compliance laws
  • Must have Personal Licence
