The Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort and Spa, St Andrews welcomed a large group of PA’s and executive administrators from Aberdeen on Friday, February 23 as part of a familiarisation trip organised in association with Aberdeen PA.
The group braved the cold but sunny weather for a series of golf activities at the Dukes Championship golf course, including a spell on the driving range, mini putting competition and buggy tour. Winners of the putting competition included budding future golfers Avril Duncan, Lorraine Ritchie, and Emma Rochford. The group also enjoyed a full resort tour and had the chance to sample the hotel’s award winning afternoon tea offering in the Fourth Floor Road Hole Restaurant, with sweeping views of the Old Course and St Andrews. Brand Ambassador for Eden Mill distillery, Steve Lowrie McKay hosted an entertaining gin tasting to bring the day to a close. Having enjoyed a £16m upgrade in 2017, the resort is geared up to welcome corporate events and conferences from across Scotland, in particular Aberdeen.
