With just under four weeks to go until the next annual Aberdeen Health and Wellbeing Festival takes place, organisers have revealed that Luke and Tom Stoltman will be making an appearance to help promote looking after your mental health and wellbeing, as well as answering questions from attendees and sharing stories from their book.

The festival, which is taking place at The Beach Ballroom on Saturday 13th January 2024, was launched by Sarah Stewart and Dr. Emma Windle, who wanted to bring together a variety of organisations, charities, and businesses with a focus on improving the health and wellbeing of the local population. The aim of the event is to inspire, motivate, and educate people in Aberdeen City and Shire into taking a more active role in looking after their health.

This year the event is split into an exhibition with over 60 North East businesses and health experts, a seminar room for up to 150 people that will hold panel discussions, Q&A’s and presentations across the day, and two individual workshops studios where people can try out a range of classes and exercises. Organisers are also working with The Baltic Boys and Aberdeen Surf Life Saving Club to organise a mass swim in the North Sea for anyone who wants to give outdoor swimming a try in 2024. Thanks to sponsorship from SLB, a global technology company with a head office in Aberdeen, the event is completely free for people to attend.

Key features of this year’s event include specific four separate discussions: mental health, women’s health, men’s health, and children’s health, with speakers including Dr Lynne Taylor, Principal Psychology Advisor to the Scottish Government, Dr Emma Hepburn, AKA The Psychology Mum, Dr Greig Nicol, Doctor to the Scotland FA National Team and Aberdeen Football Club, and as of today The World’s Strongest brothers, Luke and Tom Stoltman are joining the line up.

Sarah Stewart, one of the festival founders said: “We are over the moon that Luke and Tom have agreed to join us for the next health and wellbeing festival. Not only do they inspire people of all ages around the world, but they are also great ambassadors for physical and mental health, and are an incredible addition to the other wonderful professionals taking part. We want to ensure that as many people as possible visit the festival to be inspired, motivated, and educated into living a healthier lifestyle, and having The Stoltman Brothers there on the day will absolutely help us to do this.”

Kenny Rait, HSE Manager at SLB in Aberdeen said: "We are proud to support the Aberdeen Health and Wellbeing Festival in January. This exciting event perfectly resonates with our company’s commitment to wellbeing and our Live Well initiative. We are excited to join the local community as they champion and celebrate health and wellbeing and I look forward to seeing everyone there.”
