The Supernatural in Contemporary Society Conference (SCSC) is an international event aimed at exploring the continuing role of the Supernatural in our modern world. Hosted at Robert Gordon University on August, 23 and 24, it will see international speakers discuss their research on the supernatural and its impact on culture, heritage, society and tourism. An eclectic programme has been organised, with talks exploring a range of topics from the enduring legacy of ghost stories and folklore, representations of vampires and the Mummy in popular culture, through to examining The National Archives UFO project. Join us for a fascinating discussion on why we continue to be drawn to the things that go bump in the night!
