Time is running out to buy tickets for the ‘sparkliest’ party of the year, and to help local sick babies and children.
The ARCHIE Foundation has teamed up with Friends of the Special Nursery (FOTSN) to host a sparkling afternoon tea event featuring unlimited prosecco.
ARCHIE is the official charity of the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital (RACH) and supports local sick children and their families by providing extras not funded through the NHS, including specialist staff, medical equipment, specialist staff training, and emergency funding grants.
FOTSN is the official charity of the Neonatal Unit at Aberdeen Maternity Hospital and funds specialist equipment and staff training, as well as providing items to support families including all sizes of baby clothes, soft bedding to protect delicate skin, and refreshments for parents to access during stays in the unit.
The ’All That Glitters’ event will take place at Ardoe House Hotel on Saturday, April 14 from 12pm until 5pm. Tickets cost £65 per person which includes luxury afternoon tea, entertainment, and unlimited prosecco all afternoon.
Katie Watters, head of fundraising for FOTSN, said: “All That Glitters will be a really fun event and will be a great opportunity to get together with your friends for an exciting afternoon out while helping two great local causes.”
Jamie Smith, fundraising manager for The ARCHIE Foundation, said: “We are really looking forward to welcoming our guests to All That Glitters next month.
“Tickets have been selling really well and we would encourage anyone wanting to join us to buy their tickets now”
