Today marks six months since Granite Occupational Health opened it’s first clinic in Westhill, Aberdeenshire. It started with Monica Walker, Occupational Health Nurse Manager, and Jen McHugh, Business Manager, providing an OH service to a number of new clients.
The business plan that was initially put together by Monica and Jen has had to be accelerated with team members, an occupational health management system and the travel health clinic being implemented earlier than the end of the first year.
Joining Monica and Jen in the ever-growing Granite OH team is:

Our Occupational Health Management system is currently being developed and will allow our clients to securely access all reports and certificates, prepare management reports and send appointment requests and additional information through the online portal.
The Travel Health clinic opened on the December 4, ready to provide clients with the necessary vaccinations and information to keep them safe while travelling abroad.
As we start this new year, Granite OH will be focusing on health promotions, presentations and information to ensure that we keep ourselves, and employees, as fit and healthy as possible. Our main focus for the first part of this year is Mental Health Awareness and ensuring that not only individuals but also colleagues and line managers are aware of the initial signs to be able to provide support where required,
This doesn’t take away from the day to day sessions, both in the clinic and offsite at client premises, providing a whole range of Occupational Health Services ensuring that employees are fit to work and also that work is not negatively affecting the health of employees.
