Aberdeen International Airport is the first airport in Scotland to receive the CAA’s Phase 2 Accreditation that promotes a positive security culture.
The CAA visited the airport during a period of twelve months to audit the airport’s approach to security among its employees and third parties.
Aberdeen International Airport Security team were presented with the official certification by the Chief Executive Officer of the CAA, Richard Moriarty.

“Our Security team has been working tirelessly to develop this culture of working together and I thank them for their dedication and congratulate them on a job very well done.
“We’re proud to be recognised by the CAA for our approach to security and this is testament to the team’s tremendous effort.”
