Andrew Robertson, head of Bidwells’ Aberdeen office, has been appointed as Head of Valuation with the UK-wide firm of property consultants.
Mr Robertson joined Bidwells in 2014 to open their Aberdeen office and has been working on all aspects of rural property in the north-east for over 30 years.
He is an RICS registered valuer and has extensive experience of valuing farms, residential property, fishing rights and renewable energy installations as well as marine interests and works for private and corporate clients as well as the public sector. His expertise in this specialist field includes valuations for a range of purposes including purchase, sale, secured lending, compulsory purchase, capital taxation and financial reporting and he has recently concluded a valuation for a multi-million pound portfolio.
Mr Robertson is also active in managing rural estates throughout Aberdeenshire and has wide-ranging experience of dealing with infrastructure projects, both for promoters and landowners. Recent projects include the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route, Aberdeen Harbour Expansion Project, windfarms in the north east and Moray Offshore Windfarm.
