Community Planning Aberdeen have announced its third Annual Responsible Business event at the Beach Ballroom in November.
Be part of a growing network of responsible business partners working with Community Planning Aberdeen to support people and communities. The cost of living crisis is affecting people across the UK and Aberdeen is not immune. Rising costs of energy, food and fuel is pushing more households into poverty and financial hardship – including those in employment. It is also stretching the public services and community organisations that help these households to breaking point. Further price rises on energy bills during the winter will make the situation even more challenging for those trying to make ends meet.
Established in 2020 with just two founding business partners, Aberdeen Responsible Business network has grown to 191 members and 21 actively engaged Responsible Business Partners.
Over the last three years businesses have stepped up in many ways. From donating devices during the pandemic, providing work experience and jobs for local young people and supporting the Syrian and Ukrainian refugee resettlement efforts across the City. We know first hand the vital role that businesses, small and large, can play in responding to crisis in the short and longer term.
Book a place at the first in-person event being held on Monday, November 14 at the Beach Ballroom to find out more and:
- gain a deeper understanding about the issues impacting our City and how your business can help
- hear what other members are doing or are planning to do
- share your challenges and your opportunities
- network and collaborate
