After twelve flavour-filled days across 27 city venues, and attendees making more than 20,000 bar visits Aberdeen Cocktail Week 2025: Spring Edition is drawing to a close – but the final shake is yet to come.

Organisers have today announced the finalists for Cocktail of the Year, with the second round of public voting now open to determine which bartender will take home the coveted Golden Jigger trophy and those priceless bragging rights!

From sweet and spritzy to bold and local, the six finalists were chosen by attendees and hospitality staff from over 70 exclusive cocktails available during the festival.

The finalists are:

  • B F G by Mikey Dobrzanski at Fierce Bar AberdeenWinner of Best Use of Local Produce
  • Wild Flower by Diogo Marques at College Bar
  • Where The Crawdads Drink by Andrew Black at McGinty’s Meal an Ale
  • Can’t Get Knafeh Of It by Lucy Castle at The Braided Fig
  • Strawbello Spritz by Kayleigh Forbes at Soul
  • Peach Melba Float by Tom Rutherford at No.10 Bar & Restaurant

In addition, several other cocktails received high praise from attendees, including:

  • Tarragon Tart by Josh Crofts at Tarragon On The Terrace
  • Golden Lotus by Emma Strachan at Moossh Cafe & Wine Bar
  • Pink Spice by Kenneth Lypka at Under The Hammer

“Without doubt, this has been the best response we’ve ever received,” said Gregor Sey, organiser of Aberdeen Cocktail Week. “So many attendees have said this year’s line-up was the strongest yet - and that’s entirely down to the creativity and quality that Aberdeen’s bartenders brought to the bar.”

Voting is open to the public at abzcw.com/vote with the winner to be crowned later this week.

Aberdeen Cocktail Week returns in autumn with another city-wide celebration of hospitality, cocktails, and local talent.
