To reflect a growing expertise and skillset beyond the realms of eLearning, Electra has developed a new digital team, headed by delivery manager, Austin McKenzie.

This month Electra has rebranded the eLearning group into the digital team in a move that reflects the evolution of the company over recent years. What was traditionally eLearning in isolation has grown into graphic design, animation, video creation, and website management. Moreover, all the marketing materials are created internally by the digital team and therefore, there was a need to recognise this. A combination of recruitment and skills development, centred around an ambition to enhance the quality of service offerings, are responsible for this growth.

The digital team now consists of:

  • Austin McKenzie – Digital delivery manager
  • Matt Richardson – Senior learning designer
  • Stuart Elliot – Creative solutions designer
  • Jay Ferguson – Junior learning designer
  • Andrew Cook – Marketing coordinator

Commenting on this, Austin McKenzie said: “Over the last few years, the team has evolved into more than just eLearning. We have our learning Toolkit that has been created to help with many aspects of training including face to face and virtual along with a host of additional digital solutions.

As a company, we are continually learning and striving to improve and develop our own skills, and the digital team are completing a pedagogy training course which will undoubtably enhance the design elements that we incorporate into our training solutions”.

The main priority of Electra will continue to be focused on quality, which is something that will be enhanced by the new Digital Team and their Learning Toolkit. For more information on the new Learning Toolkit, visit the webpage below:
