Flotation Energy, one of the partners behind plans for the world's largest floating windfarm, has relocated into the iQ office building on Justice Mill Lane.

The energy firm employs around 50 people in Aberdeen, though significant growth is expected after proposals were approved for Green Volt, around 50 miles off Peterhead.

The iQ building, which has been home to Centrica since 2011, now has just one remaining suite available as companies make the move into the city.

"We were looking for an innovative environment, aligned sustainability credentials and a thriving community for our team," said Dan Wright, Flotation general counsel.

He added: "The iQ Building offers all of these, and we look forward to getting to know our colleagues and neighbours here."
