GPH Builders Merchants has proudly supported the Under 16 football team from Inverurie Academy as they reached the final of the Scottish Schools Under 16 Cup, which was played on Friday 16th May at the Falkirk Stadium against St Peter The Apostle High School.
As part of the sponsorship, GPH supplied one-off warm-up tops for the squad featuring the Inverurie Academy crest, match fixture details, and the GPH logo - a lasting memento to mark a significant milestone in the school’s sporting history.
GPH Chairman Mike Macaulay presents branded warm-up tops to Inverurie Academy pupils ahead of the Scottish Schools U16 Final at Falkirk Stadium.
A presentation was held earlier in the week where GPH Chairman, Mike Macaulay, handed over the branded shirts to a group of the young players at the school.
Neil Hendry, Head Teacher of Inverurie Academy, commented: “We are incredibly grateful to GPH Builders Merchants for their generous support. Reaching the Scottish Schools final is a tremendous achievement for our pupils, and the specially branded tops added a real sense of pride and occasion to the day. Our thanks go to everyone at GPH for being part of the journey.”
Grant Shewan, Managing Director of GPH Builders Merchants, said: “We are delighted to continue our commitment to the local community by supporting Inverurie Academy’s U16 football team. Reaching a national final is no small feat, and we’re proud to help mark the occasion with these commemorative shirts. We wish the team continued success in the years ahead.”
The initiative reflects GPH’s ongoing investment in youth development and community partnerships across the North-east.
