Infinity Oilfield Services Limited are pleased to introduce Michael Stott as its new sales manager UKCS covering both Asset Management and actuator Gauntlet sales for the UK.
Michael, an industry veteran with over 30 years’ experience, started his oil and gas career as an apprentice marine engineer at John Lewis & Sons and then Rig Engineer at Odeco before spending 20 years at Turner Diesel and then latterly at Weatherford, Archer and Parker Drilling.
Michael will be in charge of key clients in the drilling equipment sector as well as playing a key role in the continued roll-out of Infinity’s patented, recyclable, safety device for degraded actuators, the advanced material Kevlar and Twaron based Infinity Gauntlet. Michael will be in charge of international tendering and liaising with our joint-venture division in the Mediterranean and North Africa regions, operating out of Malta and Cyprus, as well as managing Aberdeen based suppliers and partners for these international tender efforts.
Michael is well known in the oilfield and has a great network built up over the years. Always enthusiastic and energetic, he will be bringing his years of strategic thinking and corporate know-how to the role, as well as a vast back-catalogue of technical and service knowledge.
