Alex Leddy joined the Intervention Rentals team in March of this year and has plans to pivot the organisation towards sustainable activities, technologies and growth.

Regarding the appointment, MD Phil Scott said “Our industry is seeing a fundamental change in the way energy is being viewed, consumed and produced. We have looked at transitioning to more sustainable forms of operations in the green space for some time now, and we believe that by having Alex as part of the management team to lead us through these changes is putting our best foot forward”.

For over seven years, Alex has been involved with green projects and helped transition companies towards gaining GHG emissions accreditations. “Since 2017, I have been fortunate enough to contribute as an advisor, consultant and contributor to green tech start-ups, proof of concept technologies and established manufacturers who had sustainable business plans. This very interesting personal transition has seen me work in and gain valuable experience of the aviation industry & airport operations, as well as agriculture, aquaculture and manufacturing”.

Alex will be responsible for setting out Intervention Rentals' roadmap to net zero by planning the ‘Journey to 2030’ by validating, offsetting and gaining accreditation in the GHG emissions protocol. In addition, Alex will work with senior management to identify and implement new technologies that drive their energy transition plans.
