JCE is proud to support Nuart Aberdeen 2026 by supplying hybrid power to a major installation at Bon Accord Baths, one of the festival’s most unique venues this year.

Taking place from 22 to 26 April, Nuart Aberdeen will once again transform the city into a vibrant canvas of street art, attracting visitors from across the UK and beyond. As part of this year’s programme, artist Robert Montgomery will unveil a striking 11-metre illuminated installation within the historic Art Deco surroundings of Bon Accord Baths, marking the first time the festival has hosted a major indoor artwork at this location.

JCE is supporting the installation by deploying its hybrid power technology to deliver reliable, 100% silent energy within the venue. Operating in a historic indoor environment presents unique challenges, requiring a solution that minimises emissions and disruption while maintaining consistent performance.

JCE’s hybrid system combines battery storage with intelligent control systems to optimise energy use and reduce reliance on traditional diesel generation. Designed for temporary and complex environments, the system ensures efficient power delivery while supporting the sustainability goals of large scale public events.

“Supporting Nuart Aberdeen is an opportunity to demonstrate how hybrid energy solutions can enable creative projects in challenging environments,” said Marco Gheza, General Manager, JCE. “By providing a cleaner and more efficient alternative to conventional power, we’re helping bring this installation to life while reducing its environmental impact.”

The project highlights the growing role of hybrid power in supporting cultural events and urban installations, where flexibility, efficiency, and sustainability are increasingly important. It also reflects JCE’s continued commitment to delivering innovative energy solutions across both industrial and public facing sectors.
