Aberdeen FC Community Trust (AFCCT) is delighted to announce Katoni Engineering has chosen AFCCT as their charity of the year.

Katoni Engineering has been a long-time supporter of AFCCT. However, this partnership significantly increases the scope of support as the Trust celebrates its 10th anniversary.

Katoni Engineering is a specialist consulting engineering procurement and construction company (EPC). Katoni has clients as diverse as Regulatory Bodies, major UKCS operators and utility companies. Specialising in the Energy sector the company focuses on solutions which are greener, safer and more efficient and provide support across the entire project lifecycle from concept to execution.

The year of support is varied and kicks off sponsoring the Pittodrie Community Hub for 10 weeks. Starting as a 12-week project in February 2023, the Hub provides a welcoming warm space, a hot meal, food packs and access to support services to around 40 people each week. The support from Katoni Engineering will ensure that AFCCT can continue delivering this essential programme into a second year.

AFCCT will welcome Katoni Engineering employees to volunteer at projects including active ageing activities, community initiatives, football programmes and employability projects. This will provide valuable support for the programme participants and a positive and memorable experiences for staff at Katoni Engineering. In addition, throughout the year cash will be provided to support events and non-ringfenced monies to allow AFCCT to discharge it charitable aims.

Throughout the course of the year staff from Katoni Engineering will also take part in fundraising events and activities raising essential funds for AFCCT.

Our team chose the Trust and this support in addition to our work with Developing the Young Workforce and other good causes will continue as we grow thanks to our clients.”
