Award-winning charity, Sport Aberdeen, has announced the appointment of Keith Heslop at its Chief Executive Officer.
Keith initially joined the charity in October 2022 after more than 25 years of senior roles in the energy sector based in the UK, West Africa and the Falkland Islands.
Reflecting on his appointment, Keith said: “Stepping into the role of CEO, I am excited about what lies ahead.
“I consider myself incredibly lucky to spend my time with enthusiastic, involved and caring team members who take pride in delivering life changing opportunities across the city.
“As a nominated finalist in the Business of the Year category at the 2024 Northern Star Business Awards, it is extremely pleasing that the work carried out by the charity is appreciated by our partners and peers.
“Striving to improve the health and wellbeing of the Aberdeen community by creating opportunities for everyone to participate in sport and physical activity will remain our key focus in 2024.”
