Aberdeen Restaurant Week is returning to the city once again next month and organisers Aberdeen Inspired are on the lookout for eateries to get involved and showcase their offering.
More than 35 local businesses took part in the July edition of the event last year which was embraced by the public and led to a large uplift in customer levels.
As it returns for the fifth edition from Monday, February 24 to Sunday, March 1 Aberdeen Inspired is encouraging businesses to get on board.
Kate Timperley, Aberdeen Inspired senior project manager, said: “We can’t wait to bring Aberdeen Restaurant Week back to the city next month and are currently looking for restaurants interested in taking part to sign up and get involved.
“Foodies should watch this space as we will be introducing some exciting new elements to the event alongside the now established set price menus for lunch and dinner, designed to encourage visitors and residents alike to support our local businesses and try something new or revisit a firm favourite.
“Aberdeen’s restaurant offering is incredibly diverse, it boasts some of the country’s best chefs, as well as award-winning bars and eateries. Aberdeen Restaurant Week makes it even easier to enjoy the fantastic variety of eateries we have in the city centre, all for a set price, and we are looking forward to getting even more restaurants on board this year.”
Rob Milne of Kirk View Café, which took part in Aberdeen Restaurant Week last year, said: “We were full all week with the event, it was very beneficial for us with a lot of new customers coming into the restaurant.”
