Give us the elevator pitch for your business.

Churchill Homes is a family-run development company founded in 1989 here in Aberdeenshire. We specialize in unique, conscientiously crafted homes that combine timeless design with modern luxury. Our legacy is rooted in integrity and family values, ensuring each property is a true embodiment of home. Committed to our region's landscapes, we focus on craftsmanship and quality. At Churchill Homes, we offer an experience that reflects our passion for refined living and the importance of family

Who are your customers?

Our customers are individuals and families seeking more than just a house, they’re looking for a home that reflects their aspirations, values and lifestyle typically not found on the Aberdeenshire market. Our clients value exceptional quality, large plots, fantastic views, unique design and attention to detail. We recently released a new house type called the Sheiling which is our 200sqm bungalow over two volumes. This house is being built at our flagship development in South Ythsie (near Tarves) with only one plot remaining. Our current customers for this house type are single individuals those retiring looking for a forever home with the practicalities of a single level home and even those with young families.

What is the biggest challenge and opportunity your organisation is facing right now?

Currently our biggest challenge lies in navigating a shifting housing market shaped by local and national economic uncertainty, rising build costs and evolving buyer expectations. We are seeing customers becoming more selective and environmentally conscious, so we need to continue delivering high-spec homes while maintaining affordability and sustainability which is an ongoing balancing act however we have already adapted to this new way of building.

What is your word of advice for fellow Chamber members?

Stay true to your core values, especially during times of change. No matter what business you work in trust, quality and consistency is what sets local businesses apart. Focus on long-term reputation over short term wins and never underestimate the power of personal service your customers aren’t just a number they should be your priority.]

What is the best thing about being a Chamber member?

The best thing about being a Chamber member is the sense of connection and collaboration with like-minded local businesses. As we are a B2C company I was worried about opportunities through the Chamber however I was wrong. The chamber provides valuable opportunities via a space to share knowledge, build relationships and stay informed about regional developments all of which help us grow stronger together as a business community.
