Skills Development Scotland is inviting employers to exhibit at the fifth North East Employment Support Event.

A period of uncertainty within the Scottish oil and gas labour market has seen many workers within the industry facing redundancy.

Led by a partnership including the Energy Jobs Taskforce, Skills Development Scotland, Partnership Action for Continuing Employment (PACE) along with other private and public sector partners; this event intends to help individuals realise their broad skill set by introducing them to employers from a variety of sectors.

Tap into fresh talent

This is an ideal opportunity for employers across the North-east looking to recruit from a highly skilled talent pool. Previous events have attracted more than 3500 people from across the region.

Calum MacLean, national PACE manager, said "The events have been greatly valued by employers and motivated job seekers. The profile of individuals attending reflects a broad skill set not only in engineering but in other roles such as finance, IT, marketing and admin. We're therefore keen to hear from employers from energy related sectors, but also from businesses right across the economy.".

Why should you exhibit at this event?

By becoming an exhibitor at this high-profile employment event, you'll have the chance to promote your vacancies to a large number of highly skilled individuals.

You'll also have the opportunity to network with attendees, other businesses and provide advice and support to individuals facing the stressful prospect of redundancy.
