Trade unions have distanced themselves from Reform UK after Nigel Farage declared it the "party of workers" and invited unions to apply for affiliation.
The Reform UK leader posted on social media: "Reform is now the party of workers. Today I am inviting trade unions to apply for affiliation with Reform UK.
"We also welcome union leaders to attend our national conference in September and engage in discussions about the policies of a future Reform government."
But leading unions have snubbed the offer and criticised Reform's policies.
The BBC reports Unite general secretary Sharon Graham said: "Reform have shown absolutely no evidence that they are friends of workers."
Unison general secretary Andrea Egan said: "It's a con to think Nigel Farage and his rich cronies are interested in unions for anything but cold hard cash," she added.
She added that the party had "shown what it thinks of working people" by pledging to repeal Labour's Employment Rights Act, which became law last year.
And a GMB spokesperson said: "Mr Farage and his Reform MPs say one thing to workers and do another... we see them for what they are – re-badged Tories after union members' basic rights."
