Give us the elevator pitch for your business
Healthoutfit is a workplace wellness company. We position ourselves around the mission of "Making health a lifestyle" and specialise in providing comprehensive health and wellbeing solutions for businesses. Across the pillars of physical fitness, mental fitness and healthy eating, our programmes are designed to improve individual employee health outcomes and overall workplace health & safety.
Who are your customers?
Mainly oil and gas companies but we are sector-agnostic. We’ve also created some unique offerings which are available direct to the public too like our FitScan and Weight Loss Programme which includes a 3D body scan and individualised wellness coaching from weight management to improving fitness.
What is the biggest challenge and opportunity your organisation is facing right now?
Budgets squeezes, reorganisations and redundancies mean that employee wellbeing is suffering. There’s a perception that employee wellbeing programmes are a “nice to have’, but they should be an integral piece in a HSE strategy. Our biggest opportunity is providing flexible, science backed programmes delivered in-person that meet budget constraints and organisation need while delivering measurable return on investment.
What is your word of advice for fellow Chamber members?
Don’t wait for employee stress, burnout or physical ill health to show up in your data. Adopt a holistic approach to employee health and wellbeing, engage your service providers to create an end-to-end ecosystem for employees. Identify metrics and monitor performance which allows you to course correct as needed. Experiment and expect to evolve as internal and external environmental factors do too.
What is the best thing about being a Chamber member?
Being part of a business community that celebrates companies that are committed to growing the North East economy. The opportunities for a little razzle dazzle are great too with a cracking Business Breakfast that is both topical and good for meeting other members.
